when help is asked for

Post by pokerpete »

:copied from another thread:

no one ever wants to help when questions are asked.

if you search you sometimes come up with hundreds of matches, most of which are passing references that don't help.

If you want a community feel on this board , rather than the cliquey feeling there actually is, some of the more experienced players might try being a bit more helpful.

I think its that some people just want an easy shortcut without learning the hard way (ie spending your own money and losing first).

I know the years ago when i started there was no-one i could ask for a hand. I lost plenty of money before i knew how things ticked. I'm sure most people on here would i agree i help most people, but when some posters make no effort and only post 'help me on this/are there any cheats on said machine etc' it gets a bit tedious.
