New to the trade

I've been interested in the fruity's for years and I'm not a massive player. I've always been intrigued by how much money goes through these machines and looked at them more from a business point of view.

I would love my own arcade which is something I am looking into but also would consider a job in the trade with someone like Gamestec.

I haven't got a massive knowledge of the technical side AWPs but am always learning more. How do you technical lads go about learning the business, is it what you have learned yourself or training you've had etc...

Any help appreciated...

If a machine breaks down, the techy lads don't even bother fixing them these days, the programmes and artwork etc. are stripped out of them and sent back to HQ for a new program fitted in the cabinet

I thought as much myself...

All I have learnt has been through buying machines and replacing or adjusting parts etc.

I see what you mean about not fixing machines. Suppose in the main it is often cheaper to replace than repair isn't it.
