Hi,

I tend not to go in that bowling alley - I head down to the Gravesend one (much more friendly, and tend to end up with free booze etc...) ;)

Have been to Lewisham on two occaisions (to get my balls drilled (lol)) and know the governor there (used to work with her!)

The one at Bexleyheath has got about 8 £5jp machines, from what I remember:

Top Giza
BFU
TAW
Bling Bling

Can't remember the others.

The only two £25 they 'had' were crap - DHH and JAH.

So, not worth visiting really, and it's a complete kiddie-shark-fest around the £5ers...

Not my sort of scene...

:)

Unfortunately Matt, most fruities in bowling alleys are continually sharked by kids who should be in bloody school, they tend to beg for quids a lot too when they get the 'ADD 10P TO PLAY' on the alpha due to all the £5's being expensive to play for them at 30p a spin, you occasionally get them lurking around the £25s too when no staff are looking. I remember ages ago I was in a Bowlplex and had one little sod yelling out 'I just had £25 out of that' as I was about to stick a pound in a Powerball (when in fact the machine had only just been switched on as it was just after opening time), second credit was a 'go all the way' for the £25, then he called me a cheating bastard and left. Didn't repeat, so I left it at that. Lost it in a bloody fake showing Casino Crazy later though.

:o ops:

I know that!

Has green and red features like a Red though, one thing it does is put you on the board with 60% of features red so you think it looks promising and then it kills you first or second gamble.

Yeah bellcrest dont get sucked in by thinking
these are showing if they show lots of reds on
the board, this is their normal proceedure,
i suppose weve all got it 2 come on Reds pretty
soon (fake showing), that would be nasty :x

I tend not to play Reds often though, as they always seem to be dead by the time I get to them, then it costs £10+ for an all-green board that kills on the first gamble. I've only done well on one Red and that was a Nitro that sprung a jackpot on me through GM fruits, collected and ran.

Just to make a further point about Casino Crazy:

Some of the best boards are the ones with only 2 or 3 features lit red, but which allow you to successfully gamble the wheel once or twice (at each exchange point) to get most of the other features lit red too. Then you know you're approaching something half decent. When that wheel doesn't wanna gamble, it'll be bleedin' obvious about it.

The ARB1 and the ALL red boards seem to be a 'red' herring the majority of the time - it just depends on how far away it lights that immortal first exchange point. If it's up at £3, and you're down at the 50p mark, it hardly ever goes up. If it's down at £2, it sometimes goes up.

Alas nothing is ever certain...
