I've had the same l&f key for around 5years, never lost it or damaged it (even doing the extremes for 18 months lol)
But people I know seem to go through 100's the cheap metallic cut keys, they are rubbish! May aswell be made of sugarglass.

Only way i can think of that might snap is if somebody saw you keying and you tried to get it out in a panicky(?) way and might snap it then

call me stupid but i simply dont feel the need or the risk to carry a key anymore,,,,,,, besides most the things im playing at the mo have cheap tells anyhow .
its all about playing the program not the float level.
not realy bothering with many reds at the mo neither so dont see much point.
just keep one in the car safely tucked away just in case i find an old gem.

of course i can see there's very little risk in just carrying one ....... but there is still risk ...... ive been searched by the police before for just streaking an austin for 125 ,,, then stayed in the pub for a meal ,,,,,,,,( they probably gave me their own special sauce too)LOL ....... my first point remains though, is there really any need to carry one ??????

Depends really. I always carry mine because there's sometimes a situation that a Key is helpful.
Snakez I won't play unless I know the balance.
Plenty of Non notey Invincibles to get a proper reading.
And more recently I've been encountering Noteys off which initially you think hopper is less than £100 but then key it to find it nearly full.(They gotta stop the toolers 1 way or another)

Thanks Gambogaz atleast someone realised the point I was making!
As for the 'are you on drugs' comment I didnt respond to it earlier as I didn't want the thread to turn into a slanging match.
