Managed to get my first ever top streak on a fruit machine today!

JTRNR and Deal or No Deal What's in your Box? (both multistake £25s) have recently come into one of my local Spoons, replacing Most Daunting and Sub Zero. Never seen these machines before so tried a tenner in JPTRNR. Seemed dead for most of the time (Game Over 2nd or 3rd spin on most boards) but after £7 or £8 in, three red boxes came in on the bottom winline (30p / spin), 1st shot - Red JACKPOTS THAT ROCK & ROLL! Went for £61! Couldn't believe it!

So am I right in assuming that was just good luck on a bad machine then? I don't know much about that m/c as it's the first time I've seen and played it.

Is that it, theese go well over a £100 its like a after streak theese do....£50+ top then give loads of £8 repeaters and 5 super strikes for a while etc

So taking JTRNR sets off the streak then? I thought it would have killed off the machine taking the top streak so I left it after that.

You say 'is that it?', but I think it's a good result for me not really being a hardcore player.

Still, £61 from £10 is better than £10 in and not even getting off the reels! :P

They can run for £100+ as anfield says....i've had a £25 followed by £75, plus some strikes etc for afters to toal £120 odd. Not really one for forcing unless you know a shedload has gone in. Last time i forced one, it was from £10 shot, MS and two £16 odd pots being offered. Still cost me a good £60 odd to get red JPTRAR, which did £75s.

Money magic is way better 8)

Like you said mate, you done well. In future though, if the top streak goes for over 25/40 then its streaking. They tend to give large cash amounts with repeats, MS AND SS, as well as strikes. The streak would of prob gone over a ton.

Just in future be a little careful as these can be a killer!

So in other words I should have carried on? I was worried about killing the machine off. So to have got to over £100 after the JPTRNR top streak, how much more should I have put in? Again, the top streak was red after gaining entry via red boxes, not the standard top streak. Not sure if that makes any difference though.

It takes like 3 boards max to tell if its still there, usually just locks you in the blue zone for like £10ish then repeats then lands on mega streak for £14 etc etc when its dead its dead

I know this might be a daft question, but does the top JTRNR streak always give at least £25?

I notice this machine is almost a reglass of Money Spider apart from the addition of a cash meter in the middle.

I know it sounded daft Anfield, but I've heard horror stories about some machines giving pathetic top streaks of £8 or £9 before so just thought I'd ask anyway, thanks for the answer. I see red box entry makes all features and supershots red along with cash amounts (giving repeat chance to non-repeat values and sometimes offering skill repeat on repeat values), but this does not mean the machine is in IM.

I notice that 30p/spin tends to give red box entry a lot more often than 20p or 10p spin.

Not IM, and yes you are right like when you trap the Manic Munchers for the top using the bonus it can give a £10 top and I have had mega bling on bling bling for £21.

But then again anything is possible. especially after seeing a £110 out of an Extreme that was £4 starting

£61 on red JTTR&R?!? I thought that feature was £25/£50 or £75 top.

Anyways, I had a blast on this myself today (Rockstar). £5 off full on 78% in a local pub. £40 in and it offers white rockstar after giving me a mix of hottish (£6-£12 boards) and dead (£1/disc/rolling around boards). I collected it and it paid £30. So I went back in, after a few hot boards afterwards I failed to scrape together anything decent and it's back in. I was battling and battling. I had the discs for £30, some teaser boards which leave you thinking you should have gambled on a 9 or 4 for that red rockstar as it locks you out on shots. Back in and it's now £90 in for red rockstar. Flat £25 and now I'm starting to worry that I'm going to get batterred to %. This machine does have a 'ceiling' whereby every board is pretty much invincible, but I knew from where I was that could cost another £70 odd, so I was at the mercy of the machine, although I knew it had bags of % to offer me. So on I ploughed to see if I could get a good red rock or a white rock/discs+ decent afters. After about £10 back in from the red rock it gave me the centre board which after a couple of in/outs filled up to £25 - knew it was hot £3.20 on a 12 etc. I was kicked out to the outer and with loads to knock out I collected the £25 money meter which repeated. I'm now £30 down and it's with some joy it repeats again!!! A double repeat off the centre, not seen that before. One yes, two NO!

Now I know you guys reckon this machine is good for afters, but I've found that after the £75 it's normally dead as a doornail. Anyway not today, it was still giving £5+ centres and 4KO red super streak. Only pulled another £10 as it took the piss eventually, but the thing was it still had a feel that it could potentially pay a red rock off say boxes or a random flying board. Anyway, I left about a fiver up and didn't play on as it's only a £125 hopper, and if it did give a £75 top it'd IOU and more likely than not it'd do me anyway, I was just relieved to get off it, but it ALMOST felt like part of that £75 middle was free. As from the 'ceiling' it can do back to back red £75 rock stars and die completely.

A funny machine this, I've got to say I've not really mastered it. I think it saves about 5% of which it drops the odd free £50 into the main now and again. I've known it do be fairly dead and then give a good top. I've also seen the invincible and a £50 board after from a £10 investment on a machine that wasn't full. Usually though it feels like you'd ahve got just as far taking small wins as often it's £60+ to get your first top.

Just my 2 pence worth as somebody used to say.
