Designing a Fruit Machine...

Post by no name »

If you could design your own fruit machine, what sort of features would you go for? I was thinking this would be a good thread for everyone to show off their designs.

Sounds like a fascinating machine you're imagining, mjd!

God knows what the lower features would be called...

.. Prick a Win

.. Super Streak-of-Piss

.. Tits a Knockout

the possibilities are endless! :)
This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy

I would design a new bellfruit called " the Big Block"

So far in testing its taking £120 to get the to feature " the big block" which lived up to its name by doing a flat £25 then leaving the machine dead. took £70 to get past the £5 block.

In all seriousness though, what sort of feature board would you go for? Lapper trail or single / triple hi-lo?

I like the sound of the big block. top feature would have to be called big bollocks. just does the "ah sorry" from ant and decs dead or dead button.

Tits a Knockout
Missed a trick with that one, should have been 'Tits & Cock-out'

;)

In all seriousness, there must be a lot of new concepts that could be included in a newly designed machine. What are the core 'parts of most machines now days?

- Shots
- Features
- Nudges
- Steps
- Blasts
- KO's

That's pretty much it, I guess. Could anyone come up with anything unique?

:)

How about more Number Runners? Blatantly the most satisfying part of any machine

Agreed! Much more satisfying than a Skill Stop etc. It's really surprising how many people don't know what you can do with a NR. My first was on JPMs Impulse, although it was Red Hot Roller then. Caesars' Palace was also a goodun too - whenever you saw 'Nudge Steppa' and it made that wierd noise from the bonus, you knew you were on for a JP... ;)
