good night out

Post by Oli »

Saturday night was decent for me. Went out at 2pm (started with bowling), was on £5 DNA, got £3 repeat offered from £1. Knowing full well that reds will not hesitate to rape you, i collect it hoping it would repeat. It did not, but at least it was profit!

On to £5 treasure hunt (it's basically a clone of a red, but isn't made by red gaming. I don't know which manu it is????) Never played it before and was offering me a lot of the red features (but only a maximum of 3 were red each board entry so didnt force). Decided to collect the features to see which what they did. (£5 jackpots are the best to learn machines on, it costs less!) Ended up getting £15 bank from £4 in. One question with this machine: I collected the "Walk the plank" feature when Super. Something went wrong because the machine froze. I was about to unplug it when it gave me -1 supernudge. It then froze again before offering me 12 nudges (top of the nudge stack) but when i collected them instead of being able to nudge the reels, all the lights went off for about 10 seconds and when they came back on the feature board had ended and i was back in reel play. What happened there?

Anyway, on to £25 powerlines. Offered me streak on red after £1 in. Hoped this would be a nice quick profit but only went for a measly £8. Should i have forced this (a lot of the other stuff in the shot pile was red) or did i do the right thing?

Went pizzahut for a nice meal after bowling before heading into town. Was on £25 Manic Muncher (never played this before either. I like it, much better then the usual extreme clones). Few questions though. Firstly, it nearly always offers 4 nudges which nearly always award a £4 win (3 bells). That's fine, but when it offers you more nudges, what do you with them as the next win is miles away?! Also, i was on the right hand side of the board and had £3.00 on the cash metre. It gave me a x3 multiplier which i assumed would take my winnings to £9.00. But when i collected the cash pot, it only gave me £3.00 and didn't give me a repeat chance or anything. What does the cash multiplier thing actually do?? Lastly, i landed on the "Crazy Pays" feature on the left hand board (last feature before top). I had one spin remaining and a power pill on the ghost things. My line of though was, i had better collect the feature because A) It was bound to be decent as it was the last one, B) my last spin wasn't going to take me to the jackpot. I'm guessing it would either land on the ghost (which i would survive due to the power pill) and force me to gamble for another spin or it would land on the blue sevens for £10, which i guessed would not be as high as the crazy pays feature. Anyway, i took crazy pays which went for £12. I was happy with this, but did i do the right thing? Should i have used my spin and then gambled for another one?

On to £25 King Kerching. £14 in for flat £25 out. Another £3 in for £5 out. I then finished the night off by going to the casino. I don't tend to play the section 16 machines as i find roulette a much enjoyable and quicker way of making money. Left there £350 up! So to sum up, i had a brilliant day/night out and woke up with £300 more than i started with!

The X3 gives you X3 on your spins e.g if you then land on 20p it will X it by 3.

It should have give a repeat chance as the Cashpot is a repeater, the Powerlines you should have forced.

Roullette is terrible and can cost you everything.

Treasure hunt is by Global and the good thing about this is if its on £25 even when its not due at all (stone cold dead) it can throw in a step reels off then bonus (Number runner)

How many shots did DNA give you to offer the £3 repeater?

Only 2, first one gave £1 repeat. I dont think it would have been worth the force. I've heard the £5 reds can be just as bad as the £25 ones.

Casino is great for me. I have a method for roullette. You know that the odds are always in the casino's favour? Because there are 37 numbers on the wheel but they only pay 36x what you bet. This gives the casino a very slight advantage, as every so often 0 is going to come in and everyone will lose (in theory). However, the method i use tips the balance in my favour. Only by a really small amount, 1.something %. Its by no way fail safe, and there will be nights when i'm down. But overall, i will make money. :)

Streak (red) is no sort of sign to force... it offers it all the time when you're on the top board. And it always pays some rubbish amount! The only true way of knowing that you're close to something is when you get given 3 hearts in one go when you land on the heart symbol. Other than that, I reckon you can safely cast aside any hopes of a big streak.

You did the right thing.
