Could this happen?

Your playing a fruit with a big streak, lets say a red, you have £56 or so in the bank after a top and u get another top, after the credit break the machine starts to pay out (As you broke the bank) before continuing but the hopper jams???
Would the machine just say IOU and not even offer the repeat chance?
Random I know but would be pretty devastating.

It would go straight into IOU and not offer the repeat. Have had it loads of times on Reds where you go over £75 it starts to pay out but doesn't offer the repeat until after it has paid the bank down. If the hopper jams then it would never get to the repeat chance as it needs to get to the next credit to be able to repeat.

DNA froze on the top hit £25 and just kept flashing on it, had to turn it off and back on nothing in the bank lol.
Was not to bad as it just came straight back but scary to say the least

yep it does this a lot, if you crash the machine in any way you dont get offered the repeat.. shit as... had a definite 75 roll on a top giza once, had run out of £1's so pressed collect inbetween the streak, locked up.. fucked me out of £50, it didnt come back for ages and it really pissed me off, i ended up about £3 up instead of a cheap roll

Never had this happen to me, but I'd pe pi55ed too!!!
Spyder - Just a point, what made you so sure it was a definite roll? Surely it would've come back a lot quicker (next board or so) if it was? Although I'll admit, the jam and the fact that you got the first £25 may have fecked it up...

Had Hotshot on streak, rolled £8 in during top feature and jammed. Didn't IOU and streaked finished when reset. Managed to go back next morning and take it off the next board. Also many reds IOU but never during streak.

That's exactly what I was going to say - how in god's name can anyone possibly say with certainty that the streak will be a 75?!

so you never sit there and confidently hit out £75 on a top giza?
hmm strange, maybe its just me...
this one never seemed to do £50's just 75's or 100's and it was on for the streak,
reds are completely renound for holding off the top's even when they are ready...
this one used to roll like clockwork,
but it locked on the payout, reset spins the reels, changes the position of the program, it cant offer the repeat,
the machine then acted very strangely, offering skillstops and numberrunner straight away, but losing the gambles to the top... on 2's and 11's for about 50 quid..
if you doubt me just ignore me! i cant be arsed with replying to arguments saying what ive written here is untrue, i really was saying that a hopper jam can fuck up the roll and that it really really takes the piss...

Not nice either when your doing a pie in a funfair near to closing time and after repeating hots (while its going around the board adding up spins) the machine is turned off so no repeat for me then. Thanks
It did repeat on the next session though.
Also i got it turned back on to claim my £50 so coulda been worse !

Its happened on a red, white and blue before during a big red streak and you just knew it was going to hold (maybe a few times) after that.

I find on £5 settings the most theese can take for a board is £8 but when they turn nasty they can do anything to a man.
rather good machines though very easy profit when ready

yeah, it was playing really well, it wasnt the first jp id had in that roll, it'd done a couple of £4.40 boards and a £5 then a flash, as i was up i thought it'd be funny to kill myself, my mate who was with me dared me to, so i skillstopped to game over, some machines dont let you die, but this one did....
then it was seriously 30ish quid to get a board, it was just press press press, no holds no nudges nothing. sucked in the £30 and then rolled for about £15.. i shit myself at the 20 in point.. i thought id broken it!
heard similar things about the £15 version too, holding off of a board because someone died on an im... hmm maybe a software bug.. not gonna get fixed now though is it, the machines about 9 years old!!
