Heh, yup, these were brilliant! Had a £25 one of these at first, and that used to always go for £100 / £125 once you got the first JP.
Also played a £5 one (25p) a bit more recently and that used to do a good 10 / 12 'whirlees' in a row!

"And do you ever contradict yourself, Minister?" "Well, yes and no..."
they were'nt too bad but they needed too roll cause they could cost a bit at times as much as 80+ in my experience. i have had a 100 roll of 30 in which was nice, i have never played a 5j/p version off these but i have had massive rolls on a 5j/p snake rattle n roll [super hold worked] it would only cost a couple of quid for the first jacky then roll for 60/70 back in the day

Loved this machine. Sadly only one even remotely near me now...
Like Matt says, they roll properly when they're ready - beating the £10 block and getting past the 3rd feature from the top was a sign it was gonna pop within 5 - 10 quid.
This was a machine you'd NEVER walk away from after a single JP - always check the next 2 boards for the glorious 'Its a Wild One!' with cyclone-style swirly lights effect for a string of JPs. Had the £100 run several times but the ultimate £125 was the holy grail (it'd eat back a tenner in credits while doing the IM sequence so it wasn't completely empty).
The £5/£8JP versions were/are just as playable.

This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy
