i walk in a pub which has a YDD
being monday and due to the m/c being nxt to the bar, i dnt key and try for a board
ah reel ko £10 cash decide to force as you do
i'm about a tenner in when the 'owner' comes over and tells me to finish my game and get off!!!
I kno what you do, he says, and i dnt wont it in my pub
luckily i get it nxt board for a huge £48 and he didnt look any happier when that came out of it
any one else had similar experiences??
i should think nearly all of you players are banned from certain pubs just like i am for meerly playing the fruity!!!!

I've been booted out of a pub before, and threatened with a ban in Nobles in York. It was when i'd just started uni and i kept rinsing the arcade for loads every time i went in there. They automatically thought i was scamming them, when of course i was just clued up and playing well.

Happy for you to lose, hate to see you win. The industry is bent as a nine bob note....

i've been barred from more than i can remember. one that sticks out for me was a jurrasic pork. had the fat bird from behind the bar on my shoulder the whole time. she watched me 75 roll it next visit walked in she must have a switch behind the bar OFF right in front of my eyes. mardy cow.

More to the point what did he mean by I know what you are doing and don't want that in my pub? Does he have some info that we don't? Or does he just not like people who gamble and found it was his duty to save you money .

Been barred from a numerous number of pubs. One pub ive been barred so many times in the last 5 years, for doing a 'Thats magic', pie factory, 6 shooter and a few more.

Bar staff can be complete pricks some times.

Look at it from their point of view.

You go to the pub once a fortnight and clear out the machine. The regulars get pissed off cos "their" machine is getting rattled by someone who doesn't even drink in the place. The landlord wil care more about his regulars than he does about some young guy who comes into the pub solely to take advantage.

I've been really pissed off at the treatment I've received off landlords, but if I owned my own pub, I'd be doing the same.

Getting kicked out a lot more often now.
Pushed out of the front door and down the stairs the other day lol. Didnt fall over tho so retained some dignity. Also got DM for a mammoth £55.

Got banned from an arcade in scarborough, no explanation..

All i did was use the method on the JJC and GBC that were next to eachother and gagging for it.

Then some geet none english speaking woman comes over and tells me in a funny accent to leave cause i "know too much"

I felt like arguing, but i doubt she'd understand a word of it anyway so i just left.

Is Lowestoft worth the effort guys?

I used to play down there a fair bit if i was on hols in Yarmouth/Hemsby/Scratby. Never used to be anything decent there, but its been quite a while since i was there.

I received a banning order (well, the bloke told me not to bother coming in again!) from a 'private' arcade about 6 years back.

He was almost squirming to tell me I had to stay away... "Look mate, you're a nice bloke and you have some good luck on the old games, but, well, it's putting the other regulars off, see?"

The other regulars consisted of two oldens who practically technicolour-yodelled over the floor when they saw me doing the old Temple of Treasure 'hold' snag. And one hard-core addicty-o who would just follow everyone around and always be swapping 'bouncy' checks with the 'landlady'...
