Scarborough - drinks machine report

Post by JG »

As you walk along the front from Olympia, to all the other arcades, there's one with the new Queen - WATChampions inside. I forget the name of the arcade, but a quick word to the wise.
The owner told me that he only uses Cadbury's in his hot drinks machine.
I'd imagine in Olympia, you might get an all purpose mocha choca latte espresso dilute to taste Happy Shopper sachet combo system, if that, along with a selection of £5 70% machines.
IJ2 - £6 for a £1 board, repeat 3 or 4 times. Uber filth!
Anyhow, the chap in the other arcade told me that he only uses Cadbury's.
"I only use Cadbury's in my machine"

So there you have it. If you want Cadbury's, you know where to go.

Impossible if you don't refuse the boards but I'm guessing he was playing for the setup and he couldn't get it. Then it must have eventually chucked the feature straight in!

I remember when Mirage arcade in Hemsby had that pink flamingo carpet!

Yep was playing for the set up, may have been £5 costs not £6 but it felt like bloody £6. Flat battery.

Do they still have a Smash the Cash in Olympia? It was there last time I visited and did a £105 off £30. Well impressed given even as I approached the machine I could feel the money draining from my pockets and the burnt smell all around.

It's still there. I made the mistake of playing the see ya next time. We saw about five groups of rat players there. Virtually potless, but you can see how it works. Ring up the big fish with the 1er float when you see a tourist lose and bag your £1 commission.

On the Jackpotty meet over the weekend we found some pub with a Perfect on £70. The pots were ABSOLUTELY SMASHED but steel has a board which goes and shoots Streak! Think he made £40 odd on it which was a complete shocker!

Olympia should be one of the better arcades but it is absolutely crap! Gilly's in the middle seems to be the most well maintained and up to date one for the adult entertainment area.
