Just to save anyone an unnecessary trip, I can confirm that there are no machines (either AWP or SWP) in the new 'Spoons at Beaconsfield. It's a shiny new build and, as with the similar Harvesters, they have clearly decided machines aren't part of what they are offering. I know it was too far for many of you to travel to anyway, but it's probably a reasonable indication of what will happen as and when any similar motorway service pubs are announced in other locations.
Particularly in the SWP world, it really is time to play them now before they are gone for good...
N.B. This doesn't affect the existing Quicksilver arcade, which is on the other side of the main services building.

It will be the same as
Ladbrokes in Moto. They won't allow the B3 slot content.
My guess is that spoons are not allowed them as they make loads from them!!

When I went to a few services just before Christmas they had a hell of a lot of the William Hill style FOBT machines just without the roulette etc on (Manufactured by Inspired Gaming I think?). Then a machine to insert your ticket for cash. Useful for pound coin changing but FOBTs were clearly not designed for putting pound coins in at speed!!!
How much do a couple of them cost plus the note payout machine that I would presume essential compared to a couple of Triple 7 machines? (Which there seemed to be a lack of!)
