Brummie Brummie Brummie.

Let's talk about travelling when playing fruits. Do you ever get self conscious about your accent???
Although not from Birmingham directly, it has been noted that people from Houvenetenetary, Loomington Spa, Warwick etc all sound like 'posh Brummies'

I don't mind floating slightly up North or popping down the smoke. I don't mind tractoring it up or even, shuuut aaahp, Essex. Even Barnsley or Blackburn not too bad. However bar Scotland and Geordie/mackam areas there s one area that strikes fear into my soul. That area is.....the South West. In fact anywhere near the English/welsh border.

I just feel like a non local intrusive Brummie. Can anyone teach me to do a proper SW accent? I want to sound Loooooooooocal.

I'm a Brummie living in the South West.
He isn't right of course, he just thinks he is.

Get a little sign printed George " I'm a deaf mute, can I have a lime and soda, please ? ". Show it to landlords.

And another one. " if you chuck me out, I'm going to report you to the disability council. "

I do love the Geordie accent, especially on females!!

But the brummie accent, espcially the deep Dudley/Wolverhampton style is awful!! As is the Irish accent.

I like when Arabian girls have American accent...for some reason. Also love the Russian accent on a girl with a sexy voice - I mean a Russian girl and a specific one :)

I try to put on the accent of whatever location I'm in when ordering a drink. As it is I only really have 2, (northern and brummie) !
