The future!

So with all the argueing and so on about everything if machines got banned tomorrow what would you do? How would you survive without the money? Im a chef by trade but with many years doing this my cv now looks poor!

It's not what your CV says. It the finding the job that will be the hard part.

Very true mav! :-) Used to love helping out a couple i knew about 4 years ago in a truck cafe! Bloody hard work but the £35 hi/lo silver was a nice bonus! Just wondered what people would do in the position of machines ending!

My answer to this thread is probably the same as what I wrote last time a thread the same as/similar to this one was posted.

Same thing I'd do if they didn't end. Plan for them ending.

Who needs a job? Work for yourself. Invest winnings into a business like I did.

Don't like 90% of small businesses end up failing?

I say 60% would try to play Poker online and fail, 20% would just retire on savings and the remaining 20% would sell their 'story' to trash tabloid.

You'd need a hell of a lot of savings to retire considering most are in the 30s at the oldest! Poker yeah been there done that a nice dream but in reality its tiny the amount of long term "winners" certainly on a big enough scale to make consistant decent money!

20% couldn't sell the story surely once its been told once its cooked!

With bj gold/refelexes taking over the country unless there is actually something for these there wont be much of a future!

I chased my first BJ Gold last night after watching someone probably lose about £200 in it, all be it recycling - but only phone games(or what ever the equivalent is on this!!!).

I'll let you all guess at how much it cost to go in and what it did.....................
