I would regard myself as a pro player, i no most machines and all the features and ratios of payouts. on an average day from touring pubs, clubs and arcades i can make between 200-500 profit, with some days loosing i make between 800-1000 a week clear profit. its bloody hard work though and very tiring. Are there any others that play for a living out there. would like to know how much you can make ?!

paly all the time, profits can vary, normal 200-500 as week which is more than enough for me
would be better but a helluva lot of players around this area.
wouldn't say you were pro for making that amount though. pros make k's a week.

Its not a guaranteed income, and never will be. Therefore ill never play pro, nor do i want to.
I just play for some small profits when im out and about. At the moment im making virtually nothing.

im at university but where ive had a 5 month break, i play with my mate who plays for a living. We drive here there and everywhere and have a few routes. Only play £25 Jp and no sec 16s. Make between 200- 300 a week on average which is quite good for paying debts and the piss up on weekends.
You can play for a living mate but at the end of the day when you get a wife with kids... your priorites SHOULD change. If they don't then you ain't thinking straight.

I used to, but i stuck with small profits in just local pubs and arcades, normally in a week i'd make around £2/300 after paying for luxuries wjile playing like pub lunches everyday and drinks etc...
But as toothless says, once my kids cam along it was time to settle down, now i just play for fun every now and again, but a profit is always nice

If you want my opinion, you may not

, but i'd say your are not a pro player as you state you lose! If you can make £200-£500 each day £1400-£3500 a week you seriously need to work out why you are only making £800-£1000.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
I play for pocket money only, I work full time and am happy knowing I have a regular income. I go out just about every weekend and sometimes 1 week night, this week made a nice round figure or £99 lol. £13 Thursday night, £6 out of a chav it (£3 in for a repeated £5) in a pub Friday after eating, and £80 from various machines in an arcade today. Wasn't going to play anything on Friday but got drawn in while playing pool.
I can't see how anyone can rely on winning enough to pay the bills.

I make about £60 a week, I get bored playing the same machines all the time and forcing machines.

any of youse guys live anywhere near middlesbrough?
prerferably Scrarbrough or whitby.
if im ever there ona day out, i always go in amusements, and seem to lose, or level off

, could do with hints or tips, or someone show me how its done sometime
ive been thinking, a "pro" player, or someone who has a good understandings of the machines...
could make a killing at blackpool, working one end of the amusments, upto the other end... and back down... im sure you could make a fair ammount EASILY.

the prob is big fella that your theroy is already in practice, by ALOT of players...those sort of places are solid to make money in if you are not already knitted into the community and know the routes and cycles of machines that are there...people will make money from machines in those places but they will have done for ages now and the worst part is they must sit there all day everyday in the hopes of a few scraps....not for me im afraid...

out of curiosity...
if they was no1 else doing this... how much money, do you think someone could make by spending say... 8 hours in blackpool... from miday to 8:00 when its busyest... working their way up n down the amusments?

it would be hard to say, my theroy has always been though that the people who visit those sort of places are mostly holiday makers and go on the pier or whatever as part of the experience and are not hardcore gamblers so they will have thier 5/10ers worth and then leave..true you may then be able to rip a quick £5 wein from that machine but to sit and wait all day to make small dribs and drabs after each holiday maker seems alot of effort for me..im sure there are people who make very good money from this but i wouldnt have the time or patience to do it :P

im thinking of starting playing slots a lot more... but im just wondering... how much money do you lose, before you start getting to know each machine? and understand its patterns, if its a simple learning curve for each machine, then ide willingl keep trying it.... however, if its an expensive and complecated procedure.. i wont bother

Buy a machine or 2. Grab a VIU or clone and that will stand you in good stead for 5 machines or so. Sell it on after.
