Personally I think it's rumhours. One of them things ill believe it when I see it. Originally they were supposed to be out early this year. The world is going to end in 13.13.13!

Don't we already have them, as the 70 machines can pay out over 200 for a single play??

There's a credit break, which means separate games. No mention I've heard off, try phoning the gambling commission.
Roulette free since December 2011.

What usually happens is in gets announced at the start of the new financial year... some thing along the lines of

"we shall increase CatC to £1/£100, Cat B3 to £10/£1000 and casinos will be allowed the Cat A1, we shall be keeping gaming duty at the same level allowing the industry to keep producing growth"

"Betting shops will be required to pay a further x% on profits from terminals, stakes and prizes have been increased inline with demand to £200/£1000"

"sports betting will have no changes"

If is the case that £100 will be allowed in the 2013/14 year then the industry will be already geared up to release upgrades for £70 catC, just sell a new dongle in some cases.
