Warning to all fruitchatters

Harry has accused me of being pro-Ladbrokes so many times that even I started to think I was!

I am here to warn you all of a change in policy they now have and I feel it is my duty to be the one to do so.

I think this is relevant simply because their adverts are plastered all over this site so here goes...

They have now changed their rules on promotions with free spins and this REALLY can affect you so read on...

Say for example you 'won' £50 from some free spins they 'gave' you, the wagering has now gone from x10 to x30 but this is fine, standard basically... its what happens AFTER you've lost the lot... so your spins money has gone... you have £0.00 in all your wallets right? Deposit some cash and play on... say you win £200 - guess what? You are STILL tied to that bonus wagering from the bonus that you have already COMPLETELY LOST! You would be tied to it until you have wagered £1500! Not only that, the x30 is only for SLOTS! If you had won that £200 on blackjack or roulette, we're talking far, far bigger wagering, they won't even tell you how much!

So basically, any free spins promotion or bonus cash promotion should be avoided if you plan to play on, your fresh cash gets tied up to it, even when that bonus money is all gone! PATHETIC! Apparently ALL casinos that use Microgaming now do this, I don't know because I haven't tried but I'd say avoid Ladbrokes like the plague for this now.

Warning complete.

Blackjack and roulette are often excluded from bonuses. I've been caught out before.

It's a full-on scam! No one with half a brain would continue to deposit, your money is tied up endlessly on table games!

This sort of thing is used by some credit card firms.

Basically if you take cash out on your card, they'll put this to "the back of the queue", because cash incurs a much higher interest rate, so you'll get charged a hell of a lot more for it, no matter if you took cash when you first used the card, or last.

If a customer wishes to withdraw any cash balance before turning over the bonus value 30 times, then they will be prompted by a warning message informing them that they will forfeit the bonus if the cash is withdrawn. taken from terms and conditions

thats not actually the case any more, changes in the credit regualtions means the highest interest bearing dept is now paid down first, irrespective of transaction date.

I've never had the bonus problem at ladbrokes, once the bonus has been zeroed out then fresh deposits require no wagering.

no surpise with horseracing, if they took bets and had a more competative book then they might do better.

Hmmm... desperate times, desperate measures?

What a daft company, they are HUGE, all they have to do is not be so tight on their prices, they are almost never industry best on any prices, they are always lowest to middle prices on everything, whichever sport. They need to listen to customers rather than just carry on like know-it-alls!
