Spoke to a large supplier of machines today and they mentioned that Bellfruit have begun to put dongles in the machines (Deal or no Deals were mentioned) - that rendered them useless after 12 months.
Does anybody know anything about this?
Is it to stop selling on of second hand machines.
Any ideas?

77.5% drop in cat c machines in ten years !!!! And charging for yearly dongles. People aren't going to like that.

This is to recoup some of the R and D costs of the machines, and I think they get cheaper the longer you have the machine,
JPM said they are not going down this route .This will stop people who buy used machines for home use as bell fruit won't supply dongles for private use,and I would imagine after a few years Bell Fruit will withdraw support when they want to bring a new machine out

When was the last time we saw a new innovation on a fruit machine. Bell Fruit have been recycling the same idea for th last five years.

Who else has played JPM's Magic 6!? The one I played was a little buggy and had a sticky top reel but I still think they look pretty good. Lets hope they see a big release :-)
