Monday 11th September, in spoons and ready for a good night in Tiger Tiger. Playing Maygay's hotshot and forced out for top feature... Took £22 to get it.

Reels started to spin bringing in wins and as it rolled the first £8 in the third reel got stuck and the alarm went off. I told the bar manager and he took my details for the engineer which was coming to fix it in the morning. However, i get a fone call from my local spoons saying that they have fixed it but will not be able to give me any sort of refund.

I accepted this but it was just annoying that such big and well known pubs such as spoons who get the most up to date m/cs can have problems like this. In the end i went back this morning to streak it on my first £4 so ultimately i didn't lose anything. The thing which really pissed me off was, that the manager came over to see what was up with the m/c, i was playing 'Kings Ransom' which was next to Hotshots. I was on the board and had 'Toggle climb' super. The manager went to pull the plug but ended turning the wrong m/c off!

Has anyone had any other annoying experiences? Made £75 today so was a bit happier

Gonna say if it did stop then you should have turned it off yourself and back on and it probably would have corrected the out of sync reel and being fine.
Then it would still be ready and be more buzzed up to give it so you would have being fine doing it that way.

Spoons refunded me £69 after Cabin Fever jammed on an payout but I was getting it wittnessed as I always do theese days.

Make sure its the manager you get over

Does it dissappear when swithched on and off with an IOU there, does it deffo not come back falshing up

I turned the m/c on and off - the reel fixed but the streak had ended with only £8 in the bank. i had got the manager but all he said was that he would get the enginneer out...thats all he could do. What a dick suck!

Reds wipe the amount I think, most other machines are ok as far as I know, can't recall any problems. Best to get it witnessed though anyway.

Reds will clear if you switch on and then switch off again during it's start up sequance I think.

Toothless are you sure it transfered £8 into your bank . I would expect nothing to be banked if the machine cut out during the middle of a streak feature.
Does Hot Shot pay each amount won straight to the bank or into the middle eventually swiping over once reaching £25???

I have had a similar problem in a spoons, Was playing pulsation and got all features red. Machine frooze for a little bit then gave top feature but the display had gone weird. It gave me £125 but nothing banked when my credits were up the collect button was flashing. When I pressed it the Displayed showed IOU £0

Engineer came out but couldn't pay me anything
