Working hours

Does anyone treat this 'job' like a proper job? For example, have a set routine, alarm at the ready regularly, a designated 'banking' day or routine and all that? At my peak I did, I'd be up for a 9am start (had to be out of the door and in the car by then at the latest) then go to 1 of the 3 set routes I'd have. I'd always have a schedule where I'd hit the busiest places 3 times a week and the others 2 each. The busiest places would get hit on a Friday and a Sunday (late Friday, early Sunday) and if it wasn't working I'd switch to various other times until it did work best. I'd keep going until I felt I'd done all I could, if I finished early I'd do a bit of searching and still keep going until at least 11. This is why it wore me out so much, because I did this routine for years. Before the earlier opening times I'd still be out by 11 and home by 1am as I'd always do Heston Services - this was over 5 years ago. I never had days off, I'd have a half day off just whenever I needed to but that was it, I simply wouldn't let the area get attacked if I could help it!
How about you?

well you can get the 24 hour arcades, london casinos have 24 hours sport books, fobts n all... can't see it myself.
I'd say the market has been saturated.
Locally ladbrokes open 8-9, corals 8-10, william hill(notopenyet), independant opens 9ish - shuts after last race if no one is in
now when it was just corals and a small ladbrokes, corals would be solid all day long... machine play appears to of tailed off lots lately and the bookies are just fighting over small pools of customers...
the single advantage of opening a new shop is that if theres selfexcluded punters in the area it then opens them up to start playing in a new shop.

like I say quite a few 24hr casinos have the FOBTs in, all the same games, last time I checked a couple of these locations 25% had pots above 200 and a few high 300s

far more complex threads than this one at the moment, all requiring the JG perspective.
