Lets set the scene village pub has a flicker go in get a 50 offer jackpot in the box ah well flicker soon after so there was a bit of fire fRom the staff went out for a smoke landlord came out twice just standing at the door staring. Anyways next day the machine was off with a bit"out of order sign" this was left for a week and just like that the flicker went for a bank job. Suck it imagine going for it just to wind them up 80 in for 140 and its the one that spits out tender then dump the lot well i get even more fire landlord comes right up behind me looking over then i go out for a smoke and he keeps on coming to the door we counted 6 times in the space of 5 minutes joke! Anyways just got to the pub and gone in opps the machine just lost power bankers!

I have 4 local locations that are now shut/closed down/up for lease etc... all of them would be like when it came to machine players, not saying that the few hundred a week they made on machines would of kept them open, but makes sense why the places fail with idiots like that running them.

Machines make % (in most cases) No pub will close down because somone has had a jackpot

But if a regular punter takes £70 or more out of it there is more chance of it being spent in the bar that a pro on his route.

Especially vital to a non-chain pub.

Greyhound is still open. Scole soon got rid of Mega and Count Yer Cash!

The thing is some landlords think that EVERY person that plays the machine should lose on it.

The landlord always moan that you come in and take regulars money, At the end of the day hes doing the exact same thing!!

These posts & threads are old hat now.

Just get used to the idea that no fucker wants a player in there pub and i dont blame them really.
Sure they lose trade in the machine and half a fat coke,But they keep the spending locals happy :)
Why you all still moan i will never understand :)

There are 1000s of places you can go in so why cry ? The cat cant allways get the cream you know :)
Theres far too many vultures in this game.
