Is it really this easy?

Hi guys, I'm new to the forum, joined mainly to ask this question,
I was working at my local today, when two lads came in (one ten minutes after the other). he first to come in immediately jumped on the bandit, a DOND Bank On It from bell fruit. £1 a go with a £54 cash pot, he fed it and fed it and fed it until the cash pot read
70, immediately afterwards he was on a superstart , and instead of refusing everything and deliberately losing like he had been for the past 15 min he jumped straight on the box game, refused everything for the cash pot.
This to me isn't that unusual, I have played like that to force a time or two, what was strange follows on.
With the same credit he won the cash pot on he was straight back on, to take the exact same thing! The cash pot never decreased, exactly the same method, super start and playing the box game immediately, that was strange enough, 5 minutes later the streak is all red, £70 repeated.
I I formed other landlords to watch and sceptre will be on the audit tomorrow so i will talk with them, I just wondered if they know something I don't, is this unheard of?
Thank you.

No it's not easy it's very hard u have to feed the machine half a monkey normally before hand and it won't pay out like that again until it takes nearly 2 thousand pound worth off gameplay best bet is to get rid off it and get a paragon quiz

They're not doing anything wrong, no devices or foul play has occured, just someone using their brain to win a few quid it sounds like!

Sceptre only just put this in, they won't switch it now there useless. So are you saying that is all he did, just feed it, because that's easy money....

Well ye u could say easy money but to come across it in that state could cost 120 miles and hundred pound in petrol as for feeding it for easy money ye u get a few quid back maybe win 30pounds but also could have a reel alarm note mech error pay unit error be accused off robbing it power cut find out 200 in that the no deal button doesn't work and then for that 30 pound raise could be 160 down plus waiting for a call from sceptre for a few years

It wasn't the same cashpot that was won. not going to affect takings as you said yourself he fed it and fed it and fed it.

Calm down, I only wanted to know if it was all above board. Its me on the line if it isn't. If sceptre want to know what happened why should I take the fall for someone else? Its OK for him to risk it for me to get it in the neck is it?

well I'm sure he didn't approach the machine to lose. No one does, And its a bit pathetic requesting a machine change because someone won on it.
What happens when people lose on it do you request to keep it longer?
Yes fruit machines are there to make money but don't begrudge someone when they have a legitimate win.

Credit where it's due coming and asking about this rather than just jumping the gun and inflicting unneccesary barrings on the lads.
The playing style used on the machine was all entirely above board. The reason for the cashpot not decreasing is probably due to changing stake, where each one has a seperate cashpot.

Fair play, sorry for the same. Like I say, I was just intrigued myself, ive played myself and played for jackpots, but I had never ever seen that much in such a way, four jackpots just seemed too much to just glance off. I wouldn't request a new machine unless there was a fault, was just saying that they wouldn't swap it anyway. There was no stake change, the super start phone reel (I don't know the correct term) only holds like that on a pound a spin. Thank you for the answers and sorry if I came off wrong, just wanted to know.

Your pub, is it a Marstons, sounds like a tactic their inform their managers to use. Blame the worker/s at the time if things are untoward.
Don't worry about Sceptre, the only time they'd stop supplying you with machines is if they repeatedly kept getting (physically) stolen.
What happens when Sceptre realise an under payment and blatantly deny there's anything wrong do they pocket it or is it shared between them and the pub?

Its a punch pub, I work the bar most nights, my girlfriends father is the landlord. To the best of my understanding from working with sceptre from a different pub is that unless staff in question did not question/report the said player it was there responsibility. I have stwearded clubs for years so have experience pulling players off who aren't members and didn't read the signs, but I never saw anything so to the best of my knowledge couldn't say a thing. As I say though, sceptre will more than likely see it different.

Sceptre do they not, supply premises with signs to stick on and around the machines to claim £210 can be won from a machine?
Sceptre (not the only guilty ones) love misinforming their clientele about the workings of fruit machines!
No doubt they'll do and audit tomorrow and find nothing wrong, but no doubt after hearing your story will fill your head with some spiel about its was professionally robbed.
