who's the best and who's the worst? i find alan davison's machines to be the worst.and gametec to be the best.

This.
No matter how many times/the amount, all IOUs paid the next day. If a machine cant be fixed on site, another is another within half an hour where possible. I love Armitage leisure. My only problem is within a year or two when pubcos go down the digital route where will leave the local ops? There is no major profit in jukebox and pool tables.

Not always true... there is a smallish company near me that still thinks it's ok to site ancient Epoch shite.
Amusingly they also still use 92250 locks in security critical applications. When I told the bloke that I had a key for his fruit machine in my pocket he was completely unphased, said something like "oh well we have been using them for years" as though that made it ok...

Place near me uses em. Cash box is locked with a different set of keys I believe. But just as stupid nonetheless
