I've been checking these on a regular basis for a while now like most of you and seem to find they are very rarely played by the regular punter.i see people in my local spoons avoiding these and playing any other machine that's in there,Its taken a full month for a pot to go up £19 and the other one hasn't even moved its still on £20, I know there's umpteen games on them so other games could be taking the money but I very rarely see anybody on them.
Is anybody else finding them the same?
Do you think they are taking good money?
How long are wetherspoons going to put up with them, they have the say- to remove them, surely they can't be taking as much mone as standard fruit machines?

There were a couple of blokes around one of these machines. Upon closer inspection I see that one of them has 'Gamestec Digital' written on his jumper. I overheard one of them say "this hasn't taken a lot", to which the other bloke replied "at least nobody has won anything on it though".
This machine arrived in the pub on December 22nd. Now (over 2 months later) the 50 pot on Mega Deal is around the £22 mark. What's the point of these machines anyway! Even in a large food pub, this gets very little play.

Today I saw an electrocoin £50 bar x on one! Utter madness.
When my local nobles first got the multi game player machines in( the ones off leisure link) the area manager came up to me, pointed at the player machines with a smile on his face and said "THE FUTURE".A couple of months later I was speaking to him again and I explained to him-- when he said " oh it's full"---that it didn't make a difference because there's more than one game on there and you don't know which one is full, he just looked at me and said "ohh I've never thought of that", then walked off looking not to happy about that thought.
Ya see it's his job to try and get the average punter at it, preferably an old dear!they love it when they see a punter sticking their ear next to the slot to see if it's full, take for example bar x 7s/magic 7 they can be full and still take a good few hundred down the back but it still gets people at it when it's full.
This manager used to put the gamble aware leaflets on the wall right next to the office where nobody ever walked, they have no clocks and the blinds are usually closed and a wooden partition as you walk in so you can't see out once youre in there, they make the coffee hot as fxxk so it keeps you there longer(I've been stung by that one a few times and ended up getting involved with something when I only wanted to check what was in there).
Also the difference with the juice machines is that in those pubs there isn't a mechanical machine in there with it so the average punter has no choice but to play a juice, is the ipub ever going to work while there's 3 other standard reel machines in there?
When a punter hears that full noise when he puts a pound in he loves it, he thinks he's in jackpot heaven and anytime now it's gonna land on that third red phone---- I'd love to have that feeling again!, they were the days when machines were fun and exciting

The DOND Cops & Robbers, the Double DOND & the East & West wing seem to get played quite a bit.

And the idiots who dream this shit up think its the future of the industry. It's killing it.
It would help if the technology running the games could run them smoothly for a start, the response time on these multi video cabs(although fuck wit tec ones ain't that bad) is terrible sometimes.
Most but not all of these kind of games have been removed from my haunts within a month or 2 of siting. The reason, nobody plays them!!

Mega DOND has been on mine for about 10 weeks, always check the pot when I go in, it's currently sitting at £18.30, I decided waste 25p see what that's at, £8 lol
The gold hasn't reached £20 yet either.
The only plus side I've seen with 1 was when I played a Mist, when you get a shitty box, press menu then go back into the game to cancel the repeat chance.

You know the things they use to use cakes? To do the piping and such. If you want one removed, or maybe just to voice your disapproval for said unit; fill a cake-piping-device with human faeces and dispense down the mech. The smell is so pungent it should lead to the machine being removed very quickly.

That's a clever one, never thought about it, but looking back I have definitely been caught out by it!
