How many of you have superstition when playing ?

when i put petrol in if i go over by a penny i always get bad luck.....seriously thats my one. share yours. and i dont like to leave residule credits on machines

when i hit a skill & somebody calls me, i try not to answer it as i always miss even when i hang up, i will stilll miss.

I have to add the odd to a machine before i start, if it says add 45p to play or add 20p to play, i must do it. I really do not like it when the credits say £2.15 or similar.

I just walk in get half a larger and play the the machine, How can going over 13p on fuel or somone leaving 1p credit in the £5 dial at doddington make any difrence to your day lol??

I also hate odd credits on a machine! It makes no difference in reality but if you lose its then because of that "odd" credit!

Only thing with me is I don't count until home.

What do you odd credit boys do if you don't have the correct shrapnel on you to round a credit off? I have no superstitions at all, what will be will be.

I like to give the machine a little tap on the side when it gets to £70 on MS, almost coaxing it into the repeat! See "Quids in America" in Bad Experiences for proof that it doesn't work.

Not so much a superstition but my playing partner will often say "9 you cunt" or "Cashpot offer you piece of shit" and I often find myself saying stop calling it names or it'll just hold out on us all night

I went through a spell of letting repeats time out a while back if that counts.

I never like to gamble when the Guitar Hero arcade machines are blurting out music. Specially White Cliffs of Dover. That's bad luck for me. Also playing Target 21 on the DS the night before sets me up for a bad day ahead

repeatedly bashing the hold/nudge buttons when you have a win on a party time in the hope it goes up.works for anyone with a blue rinse,walking stick or free bus pass.

when i used to play the jpm i used to tap the cancel button for my third swop hold.
