I'm driving an X5 at the moment but it's being traded in for a 5 series in the new year, 14mpg is just ridiculous!

Good choice. The Golf Diesel is probably the finest fruit machine car out there. It's just the right size, plenty of room in front and rear, comfortable in an urban enviroment as well as motorways, safe and has cracking economy with reliability. All of this with a VW badge.

The new bluemotions are averaging arounf 75mpg

those new golfs are really nice motors,they dont half hold their price well,if i was going to buy a vw it would have to be the scirocco bloody lovely motors,saw abrand new m5 yesterday.......jesus wept
