QPS Crown Jewels Mega Streak... or not?

Hi guys,
I chucked a few quid in this £70 jackpot machine today, and before I knew it I was getting supershots, the second of which landed right on red megastreak feature.
I pressed collect immediately and the machine began to streak.
However i looked away over to my partner and smiled for a second, looked back and the machine had stopped streaking at just £16!!!
I knew for a fact that I had collected megastreak and not superstreak.. as I know that that one always pays out low. I have never had a megastreak be any less than jackpot.. Is this perfectly normal??? I felt robbed!!
Just wanted a second opinion before I decide that the machine is bent.

I made this mistake my first time on a Crown Jewels. On a crown jewels, mega streak is the equivalent to a streak, super streak is super streak, and Crown Jewels feature, is the mega streak that you thought you collected. Unlucky mate =[
Edit: Its also a bitch of a machine

Ahh daym... makes full sense now.. Well I couldnt believe my luck tbh haha it was too good to be true.

I dont think its a bad machine, its a little cruel on the entry wins, but once you are on super shots i find it quite fun
Also got 50 out of one the other week just flicking reject.
Also there is a "bank job" machine which is pretty similar.

Also, the crown jewels feature doesnt auto collect like other mega streaks do. Just a warning. :P
And yea, bank job is the same.

Ah thanks! haha, although i was obvs well prepared when I hit megastreak, I hit the collect button very firmly

Just out of interest, with megastreak having been red.. did that mean that it was garenteed to be over a tenner, or that it would give repeat chance? because it didn't give a repeat chance :/

Super is 7 or 8 red
Mega is 15/16 or 17/18 red I find
