As I'm sure somebody stated in another thread, what a nice advert for the olympics.
The whole world is watching.
I personally think most of London is a shithole, I mean when u come into Liverpool st station the first thing your greeted with is grafitti and burnt out derelict buildings!!
Apart from a few smart looking office blocks and the wannabee Gordon Gecko's walking at a fast pace in their £500 suits to pay £20 for a coffee and a sandwich, 99% of our capital looks a mess and is overrun by wannabee gangstas and people who use the word innit and bruv in every sentence!!
This could be the facelift the shithole needs.

The Olympic village Is nice though.... And let's be realistic. All cities are shitholes. The country just hadn't got the current financial stability to start re-building and renovating.

Most capital cities have shithole areas....went to Rome recently and its no different. Poke just think of the touristy bits, but its dirty, polluted and just as much of a dump as London can be too. For the record I'm not a London fan either, living 60 miles away is fine by me!
