£5 GG Gone Crazy!

Post by Fruiter »

I've just been playing a £5 JP Golden Game, i find it amazing how much these can run for, sometimes even more then the £15 ers!

I played £20 through a full machine and in total i took 3x top features totalling £25, 6x JP's for £30 and 10x £2 wins for another £20..

These machines are in a family amusements, i know that the max JP allowed is £5, surely making the machines pay out in cycles like this is just a way of getting round an under 18's license???

I have had one top £25 feature on the Golden Game and two on Monopoly Plasma.

What is the % on the £5 machine?

I'm not too sure, i'll check next.

If anyones from the northwest they'll probably know the arcade, 'Silcocks Funland' Amusements on Southport Pier, normally they seem to be on crap payouts.

For instance they have a £5 partytime too, we once put over £40 in it from backing and didn't get a win over £2

I'm not too keen on the £2 XXX ones, never seem to play as well.

They are all mad though, hardly for children. £40 nothing, £10, win £40, £40 nothing etc and so on :)

In my opinion these programmes are just a way to get round a law,, these people want 13/14 year olds spending there pocket money ever week and getting their mates to do the same...

I remember the good old days when i was 13 and i could sit at an each way nudger and never put more than £4 in for a JP, OK itr was only £3 but we had a laugh without losing sooo much!

If they want to set laws for children playing machines they need to sort the programmes out, they may aswell have a sign on the front saying...

This machine is £5 Jackpot but we guarantee you will repeat it 4 times!

It's bull***t, something really should be done about it, i got hooked on the buggers at £2.40/£3 JP, god knows what'll happen to dodays kiddie gamblers growing up with the likes of that and S16's!

Although, i'd never complain about getting such a big streak :D

The most it has cost me for a win or a Golden Game is about £20-£25 on £5 10p, 70% with the- £2 - GG - £5 win structure.

Surely it doesn't really matter what the jackpots are set at, or how often they repeat. Kids shouldn't be allowed to gamble before they reach at least 16.

Britain must be the only country in the world where under 16's can legally gamble. What does that say about us?

I've just been in my local superbowl and the amount of kids is shocking, the under 18's section was empty apart from me but the main area which has about 9 machines all new like 'bully' and 'taw' is packed, all but one of the machines were being played by 12/13 year olds!

The worse thing is watching them changing tenner after tenner, these machines aren't cheap to play, £5 JP and 20p a go it's rediculous!

And all this while their parents are chatting in the bar! There's one thing for sure no matter how much i play and enjoy a game i'll never do it while i'm with my kids and they're not allowed on anything but 2p pushers and even they get bloody expensive :x

I only play when full, knock the flash off everytime as it works hell of alot better on theese £5 settings.

Most the top can go for is £44 but they only done this when they were first out now they are always cycling, I have never ended up down well maybe once on a full one.

Theese are great if you start to understand the hold setups and working the nudges out and seeing when its not nudging when its meant to.

Kids playing machines - I mentioned before about this little irk who could not have been older than 10 using a refill key on a TAW...!

Kids shouldn't be allowed to play any fruit machine, even if it was a penny a go and 50p jackpot!! I don't need to go into any discussion about what addiction is, or what starts it, surely?
