Playing a fruit the other night all the buttons were so sticky it was so bad. It was playing really hell until it was randomly going higher than 11 coz button was stuck in. I usualy drink cordial so I sometimes drop a bit of that in to loosen them up, doesn't always work. so have any have you nice lads got any good tips coz its a shame when it is ready but impossible to play.
Some people cannot win on them to start with but here they have no chance. Surely the collecter or bar staff can do a quick check on a morning and spray something In.
You guys had any experiences like this?

loads of times ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, in friendly pubs i always just tell the barstaff the problem , a dishcloth soon sorts it ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
in other ''not wanting to draw any attention to yourself pubs'' ,,,,,,,,,, you dont have much option but to use ya drink ,,,,,,,,,,,,, trouble is coke first makes it better for 5mins ,,,,, then makes it worse

Cheers for that I am to paranoid to ask bar staff but I guess I'm just the same as any 1 else I get the feeling of fire some times when there isn't I'm just used to it and expect it.

Take the ice out your glass and melt it over the buttons, or as already mentioned, ask for a cloth

get a bit of wet toilet paper and go round the edges then use a dry bit to dry it off, i clean about 20 buttons a week it makes them good as new.

In the pubs that know me, I ask for the spray they use for the tables and blue roll/cloth/napkin. Soak all the buttons then bash them with cloth and dry off. Easy. The amount of bar staff I have taught that trick to over the years...
