any1 know how to change the percentage on jackpoteers fruit machine. got it from ebay. seems bit high payout but do not know how to check or change it, thanks..

simply turn on the machine, it should say "jpeers v7.0 080%"
or something similar, the 080% part is the current "target" percentage
if this isnt there then do this:

open the top front opening part of the machine.
wait for the reels to stop
press the little button on the motherboard of the machine
cycle through the options on the hold buttons
one is a "left" button, one a "right" button one is "select" and one is "cancel" these are your controls throught the menus
somewhere within the menu there is a "target %" section,

this will tell you what you are running at at the moment,

you should have two "keys" on the motherboard, these are like usb thumb drive(ish) sized things but with a connector like a sega joystick adapter! the one that controls the % should say on it, if it has little switches on it then you can change the %setting, if you have a static % key then you can buy a variable one from ebay (go to ebay.co.uk and put this number in the search box: 330016739146 )


if this machine is for your use you want to get the % to about 80-82%.. this way it will be a fun way to play the machine, youll get offered a lot of better wins and get a lot more playablity out of it

you you are using it for other people to use set it at about 72/74%

if you are using this for public to play id advise you to get the latest "chip" for the game, there are a few exploits in all of the versions of this machine, but most of them are fixed on the latest... you might have to ask barcrest, they have a helpline email address on their site, you need to ask how to get hold of "the latest eeprom version update" for "the jackpoteers"

if the machine is on £15 and is an early version of the machine (v1.1) i want to buy it from you and will pay up to £600 for it
