That is a real good post spyder, was you a GamesTec engineer by any chance you seem to know alot about the company? GamesTec had alot of contracts to pubs but they are slowly losing there contracts because of the way there machines are kept and how there customers are treated, They are also losing a lot of money through toolers using GamesTec keys that are easily available to buy! So therefore last year they retrained most engineers on there new security ideas. Which was change all the bottom door padlocks to new high security Baton padlocks which only the manager of the pub hold the key for that padlock. So there is no longer a universal key to all padlocks just they door keys. So bent engineers could not go out and cut there keys. So they then managed to regain of what reputation they had and keep some business because it stopped a lot of thefts, But now Gamestec has a lot bigger competition such as Sceptre and Bobb Rudd. So they are trying there best to keep a good reputation with pubs and such to keep business, But when it comes to a customer playing a machine and it not paying out they are not really bothered about such complaints because a customers opinion can't really change the landlords/manager to swap to a different company. If anything the manager/landlord would not even want to pay a customer out because they would rather keep the money! But when a machine is getting robbed the landlord of the premises is therefore losing money aswel as the company so if things as such continue to occur the landlord will then switch to a different company. Gamestecs number 1 priority is to stop machines from getting robbed, customer loyalty does not come into there considerations because it does not affect them.
