				Clones that got overdone?

While a lot of clones were outputted in reasonable numbers, do any of you feel that a few clones got overdone?
Personally, I think that the
Horn of Plenty gaming model was overdone. Once they did Bling King Crazy and Gimme-Gimme-Gimme, that should have been it, then possibly finish it with Megazone, as that was hybrid enough to pass off as a different game. But then when Barcrest took over Maygay in 2006, they then went and released 3 more AWPs of the same type -
see here
Vivid slightly overdid the card formula, although The Rat Pack was a different enough play style.
I imagine a few will jump at the countless DOND games, although I think at least for the earlier DONDs that they were based on 1 previous existing idea each, which kept them different enough:
4 reel classic = Take The Piece
Beat The Banker = Monopoly 2003 (distant cousin)
What's In Your Box = Ziggy
The Power Five = Gaming Media (ish)
The Dream Factory = The Royale Banker
Red Alert = Road To Riches
Plus a few more original Bellfruit ideas to boot, including the Deal Wheel and Crazy Chair (although CC is cloned to death now).

But that's all fruit machine companies have ever done mate. Dating back many years.
What have we now hitec wise?
Donds/variants from bfm
flicker variants from crest
electro's
thankfully crest did the same with wars etc and grids.
Lo-tecs are the same good and bad.

				Okies :-)
I understand that grids are the Alien-type games. What is it meant by flickers?

				Thanks Deano, regarding flickers.
The most number of like-machines I saw was three TIJ2's. They were in different arcades, but all at the same fairground, within 100 yards of one another.

Box Clever is the other one- presumably so shite it didnt even warrant its own mention on the BFG site.

I'd really be moaning if I found a Deadman's Treasure and a Lucky Leprechaun side by side and I'm sure loads of people would moan if they found an Alien with a Leprechaun's Gold! IT DEPENDS WHAT THE MACHINES IS! Hi Lo and Temple of Doom, I'm really gonna moan about those 2!
I remember Arabian Nights, Red Hot Knights, Neptunes Treasure and Monty Python's Flying Circus - which was the odd 1 out and why? Let's see who's got a good memory here...

Red hot knights could do a random flash (victory) the rest you needed a jackpot to trigger the streak.
