Idiots who make is so obvious

I saw 2 complete planks yesterday, there to do my er... Pancake Day...
I watched them from a distance, not talking at all, one standing obviously giving his left hand serious cramp and the other just sitting at such a stupid angle on a stool - clearly out of the way so that it looked really suspicious and obvious to me what they were doing. I'm trying to describe so that you'll understand... it was just so pathetic! 2 young men in a pub, 1 sat there like a total plum, just watching the other it just looked so f-ing stupid like if any of the staff had a brain cell they'd at least think why!
Anyway, my point is its idiots like this that make it so obvious that make incidents occur like this "stupid bitch in Leicester" thing that makes staff like that have that attitude.
At the end of the day, 5 sets of pros can go into a pub, 4 sets do a smart job and the other set fuck it up for everyone - including themselves. I don't know who these 2 clowns were but they were seriously shabby. There's discreet and there's waving a "We're emptying your machine! Come and see how!" flag at the staff! Surely the 2nd guy could have just sat down reading a paper, had something to say, done SOMETHING - anything but just sit there like an umpire at Wimbledon perched up in a stool looking down! Its not as if what goes on is even remotely interesting anyway!!!!

You can't teach common sense. People are getting denser after the pathetic education system where everybody passes and nobody is stretched mentally. We've got a graduate at work who couldn't tie their own shoelaces without supervision.

It's pathetic, I agree. I guarantee you if there were no other players in my area, I'd be barred from less than half the places I am.
One pub a few months back had a lucky leprechaun, I did it for doors and sat down for a while reading the paper. A player walks in, let's call him Donkey Kong, ordered a coffee, checked it, realised it's done, they give him the coffee and he walks out without drinking it. And people wonder why things are fire?

I don't think it makes a great difference how subtle you try to be, people don't like to see the same person winning on a fruit more than twice and thats that really. The landlords round my way are just obsessed with their machines and it makes it very difficult.

Of course it makes a difference. Especially if you are playing off your normal route and finding stuff you will go to again. If you make it seem like you are just in for the bandit then you wont get many hits unless you are in one of those rare pubs where nobody actually cares.

They're just so thick. they actually think its funny when everyone gets barred from somewhere with the old, "Well, if I can't make anything from there. no one can!" They don't stop to think that if everyone was like them, there'd be even more trouble and less machines than there are now!

It makes a difference for a while of course, but it gets difficult to disguise the fact that everytime you go in a pub the machine needs refilling lol!

spot on there mate, 10 years ago, if you hammered a £125 hopper.. (legitamately) you could take say £60, the machines hardly ever went empty, people who had "emptiers" had to be careful, as an iou from an empty hopper was quite rare...
nowadays, £350 hoppers.. people think its ok to take £345 out... well, through normal play and notes/coins etc.. this IS possible, but not really that often, unless someone knows too much...
quite a few pubs have their own refill days/keys/notice you taking £140 or £210 out, both of these amounts are pretty much the total if not more than what the hoppers held 5 years ago, anyone whos worked bars for their entire working life is going to be suspicious straight away...
remember, barring you isnt personal (usually), its a preventative measure just incase you are doing something you shouldnt be..

i never turned any note lights out when 1st doing these perfects, treated it with great care,as did other players from bristol, when an empty becomes public knowledge you have to pretty much take every coin...because if you dont someone else will

I have this thing called a phone!
Some players try to make it seem like they actually come to pubs for a drink, to sit down, relax for a few minutes, text their mates, etc. Some buy a drink, do the fruit, take 1 sip and leave and then wonder why they're not made to feel welcome...
