From what I know about my photo, which I took, the bloke only lost 40 to 50 quid and went mental with a stool, did top and bottom. Fuck knows what he'd have done if he'd done the sort of money I've done in them before!

i have pulled over 2 fobts, one in will hill which took the piss and another in ladbrokes which was harder to get over and needed 2 good pulls as the internet cable stopped it going over in one,
if you dont want to go this far i would suggest cutting the internet feed as far back as possible then hopefully an engineer will have to run another feed in and this is more discreet and probably wont noticed for a few minutes.
or pour a bottle of water down the coin slot and listen for the fizz.
if everyone started doing this then we could end up like france and their wheel clamps when everyone starting superglueing the locks when they saw one and now they dont use them,
so maybe superglue is good aswell in the note and coin slots.

Run a stanley knife down the side of the touch screen severing the fibre optics. Costs about 150 a go to repair and the machine is out of action. You could easily conceal a blade.
