Fruit Machine Chat

Various posts today have confirmed what I believe is a campaign by engineers to blacken the name of us good, honest, hard working fruit machine pros. We constantly get accused of the most far-fetched twaddle - the sort of crap we couldn't dream up if we tried.

It has now gone beyond, "you're doing something" or "you're fiddling my machine" from the barmen who are being told these stories... now its; "its not possible to get more than 1 jackpot a day", "you're using a device", "they've been watching you on CCTV frauding the machine." and then we're getting technical junk and the whole "internet gangs" accusations, "you work for the company - I saw you come in and install the machine, I'm NOT STUPID!"

I want the ones you've heard, the ones that have obviously come from an engineer to a really thick barman who believes this shit!

And, if you have any ideas, what can we do about this SLURRING CAMPAIGN????

Lest we forgot the infamous usage of keys....
' I know you have a key that makes the machine pay out!'

If I did would I put >£50 in for a meagre £20 profit...

"50 QUID????? You never did! I was watching you, you never put in more than a fiver!"

Tell the barstaff after the engineer has just chipped that you

a) Saw him fill his pockets with pound coins

b) He's a convicted kiddy fiddler

or

c) I saw him last week holding hands with your missus.

some dimwit landlady accused us of orbiting a satellite above her pub with our mobys

when i stopped laughing ,,,,,,,,,

i tried to reason with her , that first it would probably cost trillions for me to re-orbit a satellite above her pub ,,,,,,,,,,, and if i had that sort of money , i wouldn't be bothering to try to extract a jp from her.

pointless ,,,,,,, she weren't having none of it :P

I had a similar accusation, using my phone to make the machine pay. I said it was true, I had a little midget mate inside the machine and was calling him to tell him which numbers to spin in while I was on the board. I got barred.
