What's happened to Barcrest?

They used to make decent games, great for streaks, always good value and if they played a bit funny you knew there was a method (like Lotto Luck/Jackpoteers). It all went wrong when they started cloning Bell Fruit shit like Gold Digger with Big Cheese, High Flyer, etc. In my view their last decent game was Vamp It Up. Yes, since then there's been Lucky Strike, the darts games weren't bad. The empties on the Dart game which escapes me and Holy Grail were obviously welcome but the complete trash they have out now is simply unacceptable. Pull your socks up you wankers! Make us some decent games!

If by decent games you mean ones people can make a living out of I don't think that is their first priority.

They were bigging up in.gaming but nothing much seems to have happened.

They had some decent games out after vamps like wobblers, space raiders, cash attack and ape, then they had amazings digits and aliens then superhold was massive. take it or leave it is trash reminds me off all the horm of plenty clones.

murphys millions/tioli/cyc/bootylicious/lotta luck = rip

pacman power up = rip

pacman/its amazing = rip

rainbow riches/starwars anh/rob da bank = rip

starwars esb (its on crest site even tho i thought extreme) = rip/mtr

lucky strike = rip

top gears = rip

bling king crazy = mtr

vamp it up = rip

high flyer/big cheese/top dog = rip

alien/lep = rip/mtr (depending how good u are)

going ape/cash attack = rip/mtr

al murray/oche oche oche = rip/mtr (depending on alarm)

holy grail/back to the future/monteypython = mtr

thats 28 crests with info, im sure i missed a few too.

mtr is emptier (mtr say it fast!)

Aslo you cant empty aliens as they would bell if you got a mixxed 7 board and lucky get it to 7heven, oches are only empty if you can sit em out for 15s will bell if you take to many jackpots.

Well look at it from my point of view:

Never touched Power Ups
Hardly played a Rainbow/Star Wars/Rob Da Bank
Never played Aliens
Never played Booticious or any clones
Never played anything but Pacman and Amazing which the cunts chipped

Dig It/Empires are counted as Extreme as far as I'm concerned
I'm not saying there is nothing on the above - I know everything but I'm talking about the good old tradition Barcrest streak machines... King Kebab, Battle Axe, Revolution, Ultimo, Big Cheese, High Flyer (crap games but clearly streaked) those machines that streaked PROPERLY and let you know they were! Why do no machines do this anymore except once every £60000 rotated Deals?

Tioli etc surely can't count as a rip, It's shit. The only thing I remember about toili was some idiot who went round spreading rumours of an emptier because he was trying to blag info from someone else who had also made up an emptier for a different machine!!!

Tiol and clones was hardly a rip i bet i could get a pot that board without playing the game. Leps golds etc are a brilliant playable albeit very old they are still a good earner and plenty about! Dig its etc good playable they have being brilliant company...... just they aint relased much since the tioli

MoG, you mentioned the various darts games by Barcrest. They were 2005-era, so about 6 years ago, but I saw one at Crewe train station 2 weeks ago and it was a £70 version. Is it an old machine that has just been updated to £70? I had a quick punt on it and it played reasonably well.
