It's quite common to be honest mate! Everyone starts somewhere!

No one was born a fruit machine player were they? I don't see the point in taking the piss out of people who don't know how to play certain machines, especially something that you probably weren't doing as early as alot of people on here.

If you wanna take the piss out of people make sure they can't dig up silly things on yourself 1st.

We've all started somewhere. The first time I ever played I didn't know what Hi or Lo meant. I was basically learning each button or thing you could do. I knew some things like "Exchange" lighting up were goodish things. Since then, I've had boards bought off me no problem and thinking Unlucky when the JP doesnt drop in from holds, rather than "Knew it wouldn't do that! It's predetermined!" Couldnt do extremes until 2007, or Party time setups or anything really...I just stuck my money in and played my credits.

I used to think people who press for "invisible holds" were just thick - not that they were super-fast players, pre-empting a hold as I ended up becoming.

I remember my first post on here

ops:
I naively offered anyone who wanted them ,some of the extreme set-ups,way past their best date.
I severely underestimated the playing prowess of a lot of the posterers
And was met with some pretty waspy replies.
It's best to not leave yourself vulnerable to attack, and not try to bullshit this forum.there's plenty on here who know the exact limits of possibility on many machines and will expose any porkies easily.

I'll take a stab at the answer to that question.
1) By contributing positively to the board.
2) By demonstating a reasonable and well balanced demeanour.
3) By being well liked and respected by the majority of the board.
I think that sums it up.
