What was the most expensive/cheapest drink that you had to buy in your local pub.

My most expensive drink that i bought would be 2 malibu's, 2 bacardi's & 2 pinapple juice's which i bought in Scotland for around £13, i was empting the £4.80 pound for pound fruit machine in a very local pub in 93, i had to buy 2 lots of those drinks, when they realised what a big spender i was, they were happy for me to do there fruit machine.

The cheapest drink i bought was a soda water which i bought for 30p,
I went in the pub for the £10 money money money, the fruit machine was swiched off as soon as i bought that drink. :x :P

Probably wouldn't get it now, but Brandy & Babycham (honestly) F**king fortune.

Expensive would be either a Turbo Shandy or Cheeky Vimto, both close to a fiver.

Years back I was doing a fantaztec in Windsor and a double vodka Red Bull was £7.90.

Well spotted. That's what happens when you drink it, you can't finish your sentence off.

lime soda for 15p was cheapest,
and i think £8 ish for a vodka redbull is the steapest.

Not being a drinker , ive not much to compare ,,,,, and feel sorry for some of you lot

but least ive paid for a j20 is a quid , most £3

most for a diet coke £2 ,,,,, and least 50p ,,,,,,, (you know when your in a dodgy pub , when they just pass you the can ,,,,, or pour it straight from (an always flat) bottle )

general rounds of a j20/diet coke for me ,,,,,,,,,,,, and half lager for martal ,,,,,,,, is around 3.00-3.65.

but the same round london is 4.50 - 5.20 ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, bad especially when a cpl of quid then tells you the fruit isn't ready ,,,,,,,,,, thats like £7 wasted in every dead pub.

i digress a little from the main topic here , but may offer interesting reading for some.

we have £60 expenses before we start lol ,,,,,,,,,, 35fuel , 15 , tube tickets (1to4, £7.30 each) parking £4.50 and a spoons breakfast bloomer each (£2.39 each) :P


i go twice a week (once with martal ) ,,,,,,,, and most times were still pulling 100+each

only took home 57each yesterday ,(our worst visit),,,,,,,,,,,, but if you add it up with your expenses + drinks n dead rounds etc ,,,,,,,,, you've still had to take over 200 out of machines to achieve it.

plus the london atmos is hard to beat , its a great day out regardless ,,,,,,, especially in the summer with all those foreign tourist birds wearing next to nowt.

Close to a couple of hundred for a glass of Louis XIII.

U bother doing all that trekking to do London by public transport.... wow, sooner you than me!!

Personally I think London is a bit of a hole, full of foreigners and dodgy people, annoying to get around and generally pretty stoned anyhow.

ob m8 ,,,,,,,,, of course i could do skirts by car ,,,,,,,,,, but i like the tube atmos ,,,,,,, its a break from driving round all day on my other routes too .

i treat myself to a good meal ,,,,,, treat it as a day out etc ,,,,,,, relaxed unhurried etc


dont forget although we all have 400 days ,,,,,,,,, im happy with anything over 50 any day.



everyone's living circumstances are different ,,,,,,,, i only need 5-600 a month for all bills , rent , food , internet , running a car etc. (without any luxuries )

so 150 a week will do minimum ,,,,,,,,,

i love the position im in. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, a lot of players are stressed out constantly , and are under sooooo much pressure to earn.

I find tubes nauseating tbh, too busy and alot of walking...
