Hi there guys.

got a deal or no deal in my local. seen a couple of players now who dont hold the reels and just let them spin until they get on??

Does this work better than holding the phones ect??

cheers

Perhaps they are playing for the ladder?

errm cant remember the name of it. if you get a reel win you have to gamble and then exchange for the feature. will have a look later on. and does it work better not holding reels??

I'd say more chance it'll be Big Reds. No phones to hold on DF.

JG edit: Pretty much the same thing, but THINK Red as well a possible

Or some right chunt of a machine that I found a while back - an absolute shitter of a game: Dream Offer.

Yeah, I'd fall asleep playing it as well!

(It's a five reeler / no holds job and is shite!)

There's also the Power Five - the one that has a bonus on 4 and 5 on the trail. That's a machine where you have to gamble a reel/trail win before you exchange. The board game itself is Gaming Media-esque minus the inner most board with in & out arrows. Instead of the inner board, you have the phones game.

Since when do you get a reel win that you have to exchange for the feature on a dial ?

Like scott says, sounds like they're playing for the ladder.

Ahhh this had me wondering for some time - what machine do you guys refer to when you say a "Dial". Is it What's In The Box? Kinda stems off from Ziggy and has the dial next to the reels (analogous to Jim's head on Royale Family), and thus the machine being referred to as a Dial? Or am I 100 miles away? :-D

Some people also call them stoppers, from the old 1st program empty from feature "winstopper"
