Sceptre
It is NOT repeat NOT pronounced SKEPTRE!
It is sceptre as in crown&sceptre. Seriously sort it out you lot!
for those who need a bit more help here is the phenetic spelling - (SEP - TER)

He's saying some people are pronouncing it Skep-ter, when its Sep-ter, i must have missed it? Unless its something elses he on about?

Can't say i've had that problem mate, if were moaning how about barmaids who when you change up some coins will watch you do 6 piles of £10 pound coins, then they will count every single coin, even though all the piles are the exact same height, even after pointing this out they still count them.

yeah this cracks me up! They are so thick they don't even think of that, and you know full well that if you tell them about the level piles they'll still say something ridiculous like 'you can't be too sure, I need to make sure the till isn't down'.

i like many others , have experienced this ,,,,,,, even when paying bills in the post office
you would think post office staff would have the intelligence to stack count wouldn't you?
