What sort of annual mileage does everyone put in?
Last year i racked up around 19,000 miles in total, though that does include a fair amount of unrelated fruit trips to uni mates up north, footy away games, local driving etc.....but it's still a fair amount when my insurers think my annual mileage is under 8,000!
I'm sure some on here must double that. That's about 375 miles every week of the year, or 55 odd a day for me.
Others??

My celica has done 101k and when I bought it last Jan it had done 32k!
So about double that would be a fair guess!

Is this just for people who drive. I don't drive but with public transport and fellow playing drivers, I'd say I do about 500-800 miles traveling a week.

rentals ?,,,,,,,,,,,, no matter how much your making m8 , thats gotta work out much more expensive than owning/running your own car .
lest of course , you have a relative in the hire car trade that gives you huge discount ???

do you mean lease? I've been trying to work out if it's cheaper, or better because you get a newer, better car for slightly more money per year.

You can't really lease because of the high milage, most lease deals work off a 10-12k annual milage. You can obviously pay the excess milage but I wouldn't of thought it would be worth it.

have a freind in the rental trade, i get a car for 400 a month.... which is dirt cheap. he works it by i have to change cars everyweek as i would put too much mileage on one car, and i pay cash of course
