Another bad night....

OK so i don't really play that much anymore and if i do it's club machines or s16's, i stopped doing the pubs last year when i was given orders by my other half to 'settle down' anyway we went out for a couple of pints tonight and first off i spotted my fave machine 'club frenzy', it was backing straight off so i changed a tenner, it gave me £15 from a couple of nudges i gambled to £20 and exchanged, 4 presses later i had £20 repeater on offer, i declined and died.
But as far as i know that's a good sign and the machine hadn't been refilled for 6 days so it was genuine. I went to the bank and took my last £40 and put £30 in without an offer of more than a fiver then it put me up and offered £40, i was going to die so i took it and then another board for £12 and walked away £2 up, but still gutted i didin't have enough to force it!

So i try club casino crazy, first board offers £15 with triple bonus so i carry on and die, next board just before it was about to kill me offered 'hit the top' i took it for a whopping £8! Anyway the next pound went to the bottom so i stuck with it and on my last pound took 20 spins for £80, which was impressive!

So as the quizzer was broke and we had a babysitter for another couple of hours we moved to the pub up the road and found 'jewel in the crown' again the first pound dropped to the bottom and first board offered £6, i thought this was a good sign so played on, £45 later it offered me £25 on the cash but as there was no repeat it carried on, £10 later i took mega streak for £30 but no afterplay :(

So we came off with what we started with at the beginning of the night, anyway i tried a quid in the other which was 'king ker ching' which dropped but the board killed me after offering £2 so i came home and called it a day, anyway my question to end the essay is does anyone know anything about the last 2 machines, did i play right? which stake do you play? do they streak? i liked the game and may go back next week but i need some info on them as i was really confused and i'm not used to new awp's :?

I think you mean Jackpot Gems there. It doesn't have a Mega Streak on it, so i'm not sure what you are on about. :? :

I can't believe you are going up to clubbers with only £40 and considering a force too. I'd have a float of about £500 if i was going to do a club machine. The only time i have ever attempted a force was on a club Cops n Robbers, and £230 didn't get me the JP. Luckily i got the majority back, but it wasn't that close to dropping even after that and some mug piling £70 in before me! The highest i got to was £75 twice on the hi/lo gamble.

Yeah i did and it was the same machine last week, It's not that i'm going out to play, as i say i just go out for a game of snooker or a couple of pints but as i have 3 kids i'm limited to how much i have to spend, so if i have anything left i'll try it in the machine, i used to always turn out with £500+ available but that was 4 years ago when if i lost it all it didn't matter but with 3 mouths to feed i can't do it anymore... However i still like a game and it just guts me when i find them playing well and know they have a good profit in them if i had maybe a ton or two but i don't, so i just try what i have and play for a small win and if i get a flash, which has happened i don't complain.

I've always played quite big and in another thread i mentioned i lost £2000 within 4 days on an s16 bender only a few months ago, and that was pretty much the icing on the cake and now i'm under the thumb  i don't even carry cards anymore, i just can't trust myself!

Cash Strikes are good.......7 would probably be at least £14. You normally get £8/£10 from 4, so i'm just guessing. It just gives Cash KOs, but say it hits £4 on your first go, every strike after that one is over £4.

£100 is my float of choice, 60 in coins and 40 in notes. normally dont break into more than 40 mind, but its good to have more just incase.

Cash strikes normally give you the maximum amount that board you can get, no matter how many you have,, I denied a 6 pound shot, only to spin onto a shit number, took my 1 cash strike, gave me my £6 :)
