No Bullshit rate yourself

Post by mr cheese »

Pro player etc,I have played mcs for around 30 yr Man & Boy,Ive never classed myself as a pro player simple reason i dont win all the time.I am happy going out and having a drink without even touching a mc but would consider a few quid here and there for a board and beer money. In the time when i used to travel things were different although 3or400 was quite easy and sometimes a 1000 a week,However there are to many people now who know what they are doing or know enough to strip value,so in theory i would say there aint as many pros as there used to be more casual players of fruits,And then an Empty comes out and they all come out the woodwork shouting the odds bigging themselves up as a pro player,WHY what is there to gain.So is a pro someone who wins say 3 of 5 days or ends up,up every week or someone who wins everyday cos if it is there aint any pro players, and i bet now a lot turn round and say someone who makes a living (so thats me am a pro player)...If so post your losses now and then so new members can see its not all a bed of roses. The site is getting boring now its all win win win.....No one being honest and saying how it is ...

Agree though - it is funny how many new faces turn up when something hot gets out and about... :(

I win most days and have been full time for 10 years but you have days when your behind someone or machines are ready and just play shit! Nobody wins everyday but i have found it easier to win bigger since the £70s came in as you only need a couple of things to go your way and your well up!
I am Glendale, much better than you!

I'm a casual player who tries to play for some enjoyment and see if I might be able to chance a win.
Rarely ever make money because it all goes back in different machines during the day until I get bored lol, but I know some bits and pieces that help keep the cash regulated for longer

I can honestly say I can read 90% of all DOND boxes on all the machines.
I'm not a pro by far, but can live of the winnings.
Aww, how'd you feel?!

Similar to Captain Tatty here.

I've played fruits regularly since 2001 but I never got past casual. I know enough to recognise IM, hidden holds and memorise which machines allow collect-on-mystery. If there is tactical play such as nudging in numbers on blue/red trail Barcrests, then I can be quite good at that. I'm not one for knowing machine emptiers though, and I can be prone to losses to machines that have been 'done' such as Pink Panther and Pony Express. I'm also very very short sighted (-26.5) plus other added eye problems, so I'm not too brilliant with anything that relies on reflexes. Most high wins are due to fluke but I lose in the long run. In a pub, normally the change from a round, possibly a £5 into the note acceptor. In an arcade, £20.

I am casual player and tend to watch machines and see how others are doing.

Will walk away if ive made a tenner profit and tend to walk away if nothing happens within a fiver.

Just Casual.

Full time job. Out 4-6 days a week, haven't had a losing day in about a year.

Wouldn't rate myself as highly as others though. Have to really concentrate to hit skills as my eyesight is appalling, and I don't have top boy contacts.

But discipline and organisation are my forte, never get involved in junk and I pride myself on checking/having various interchangable routes etc.
Bored of the grind.

i would say a pro fruit machine player (regardless of their skill level) is someone who lives solely off the income of fruit machines , with no state benefits whatsoever . jsa housing benefits nothing whatsoever

i haven't signed on since the change to £10 jp's ,,,,,,,,,,

how ? its not having the best skills , its not even necessarily having the best and earliest info.

anyone has the potential to make money , but it takes a much harder skill set to keep it.

simply,,,,,,,its about good organisation and money management skills ,,,, budgeting ,, planning ,,,,,,,,, and above all else ,,,,,,,,,, DISCIPLINE ,,,, to not throw the money earnt down different avenues .

to that end ,,,,,,,,,, im definitely a pro.
Little discipline = BIG issue

Trayhop. If this phone was a decent one I would quote you. You can have all the skills in the world, but lack the discipline then you will be in trouble when the bubble bursts.

I wouldn't be able to claim/sign on etc as one day I could be in Torquay the next day I could be in Dumfries.

if you dont play shit you would be unlucky to be down on the day.
the chances of all my leps, digs, reds being papped on the same day are very slim.
i went out on saturday morning and made £60 on my first machine sw/rr then i lost most of it testing the water on a smash and 3 dig its that hold on 25p but not there on a quid, so the day looked grim :/
the next dig gave £30ish proff the 3 reds went off about £10-15 each and my gf forced out 2 take it or leave its and a count ya cash so prof was good at the end of the day.
i lost a bit last saturday but made it back sunday.
im no way a full time player, i go out once or twice a week :)
condoms... ribbed for her pleasure! turn it inside out and its ribbed for my pleasure :)
