Attract Mode

Hello All, Am so glad i found this forum as i am an avid player of fruit machines.
I was just wondering fi this was ever true at all.
When the machine is in Attract Mode and does its fancy displays, sometimes the light show will have a series of lights from white to RED, the more red there is the "happier" the machine is and is potentially going to pay out.
Is this just a myth ?
Regards

Hi Q and welcome :-) I think it's mostly myth, but if there is any truth do it, then it will be specific to a very small handful of machines. I've been playing fruit machines casually since 2001 and I haven't personally noticed it on attract modes.

Certain machines have "red features". On feature entry the more that are lit, the "happier" the machine. This was true a few years ago, but on newer machines this may lead to false expectation that a large win is near. Sure some of the regulars can add some insenstive info as it is a while since I played an AWP.
ps Welcome to Fruitchat.

Some Red Gaming machines of old would show more red features upon feature entry which would usually mean they are a bit happy!!
But while nobody is playing it and its in attracd mode it means bugger all!!!

There were a number of games of old (BWB?) such as fire and ice, championship soccer, and a few other clones that would either be all blue on attract or all red when there was a streak in them.

Maybe they can do a Doctor Who when he travels back to 1995 and rips a few machines. That would be worth watching !!!

Thought you had to put5/10p in them to see what colour they were?

when you get a board on a red gaming machine you want most of the features to be red (means its close to jackpot) if its all green/blue every board then the machine is probably burnt!

When mc is in display mode it will display the same everytime the lights will display the same colours unless the bulbs are broke or some secret sign put in by the programmer ...,Red mcs upon feature entry can display a certain amount of red features normally the more the merrier (but can still suck you in)Obviously the more after a jp is a good sign, then Obviously you have your Red/Im/Gatw board where the lights go red indicating a jp or mega streak board...

I found it quite common for a Red Gaming machine to display all features in red except for one. The 'inverse' is also true - seeing all features in blue except for one that is in red. However, have you ever seen all features in red? That happened to me once on Slider (very much like JPM's "Arcadia"). I thought that it was an invincible mode but it wasn't in the end. I did jackpot it soon afterwards though, so all-red features was an indication that the machine was happy.

If you reach the next cash exchange point by gambling then you are awarded the top

if all red you need a feature shot and it gives the top yes, and i meant all green but 1 or 2 and theres allways atleast 1 red feature isnt there.
