Hi and thanks for taking the time out to hopefully helping me out. I have this old one arm bandit and im afraid it has to go.Dont want to sell it but work is really slack at the moment and need extra funds just to get by. Sad I know but you gotta do what you gotta do.
Ive allways wanted one since I was a kid and eventually found one.
So can anybody tell me a bit about it. Year it was made, is it rare and most of all is it worth much. The pictures makes it look really small but believe me it weighs a tonne. Its 27'' high 16''wide and 14'' deep. It takes new 10p's so I suppose it has been modified, again I dont know though. It could be a new machine made to look old....doubt that lookin inside it. I do know its great fun when people come over but unfortunately their 10p's wont pay the bills lol.
Any help would be gratefully received
Cheers wig

I think they are worthless, your best bet would be a skip. Or ya could try get some scrap value out of it.

eBay would be a good place to do some research bud. I would think it to have some value.

Yeah i had a check on ebay and have been looking there for the last few weeks. They seem to range in value from £50 right upto £800. I hoped that maybe somebody had seen one of these before in here to shed a bit of light.
Thanks Rob

its a bit specialist for ebay,
you might want to contact a proper auction house, or try and find an antique fruit machine arcade (there used to be one in devon near barnstable and im sure there was one in mablethorpe about 15 years ago) and see if they can give you any history on the type of machine?

i'll give ya a conker and 2 elastic bands, 1 of them is broken though. I can also throw in some blu tac (used) for good measure.
Let me know if that is any good so i can send you my address to deliver to.
Thanks.

Didn't realise the Mecca was still going. Thought Pete had given it up? Or am I thinking of fruit forums? Lol

I used to post on Fruit Forums waaaaaaaaaay back when it was called 'MPU Forums' many moons ago. In its current state, it does seem to be on its last leg. The MPU Mecca was busy last time I checked. There's also Fruit-Emu. Not sure about traffic on there though.
