Newbies / Introduce Yourself Here

Post by JustAnotherClone »

Hi saw a thread a while ago that looked quite popular, everyone introduced thereselves so we all knew who each other was. Thought it might be a good idea to create another one but make it a Sticky thread so newcomers can see whos who and post there own info.

Right ill start us off then :) Play in and around Nottingham don't really travel and don't make a fortune either. 22 years of age quite young compared to some of you lot im sure :) been playing for 5 years or so but the first 2 years of my playing days i was clueless. Know a few tricks but try to relay on reading a machine other than methods/emptiers.

I'd rate myself 10/10 in reality id be more like 7/10

hello, i'm robin, play in bicester/oxford area, i'm 42 and played far too much when i was a teenager! stopped for a long time, but recently, have seen people playing to a kind of system, thought about it and found this site,(found some others not so good) i am not a pro i have a 9-5 and play for fun mostly. i like it when something on the site works on a machine i am playing, it's the secret knowledge thing, maybe, anyway, always looking for info, but none to impart :o ops:

Hi im Chris,

Im in my 20's and originally from W London, but have been living in Sussex, close to Brighton for some years now.

Started off playing in Arcades at about 10-11. I don't play arcades at all now for several reasons, ie, too many people there knowing what to do, sharks/snipers, ponces, plus more importantly im barred from most in my area, Worthing, Brighton, Eastbourne, Bognor.

These days I play mainly pubs and LBO's, but mainly pubs. Did the services alot when I was at college in the holidays, but don't have the time anymore because of a my job.

I regard myself as a very good player, know my stuff, but don't regard myself as Pro, as I can't give it 100% of my time. I work 9-5 Mon-Fri, so I play after work, and all weekend.

I genuinely believe that the scene has changed since I started, mainly to do with the machines that are out there at the moment. Tight programming, anti forceable machines, mobile phones and the net. Basically I don't make as much as I did a few years ago.

I don't like to say it, but I really do feel that the AWP's are numbered, following the success of FOBT's and more recently Sec 16. For example, the majority of LBO's have removed all LBO's and replaced them with FOBT's, none of the Hills & Corals down here have Fruits anymore. I asked once in my local Ladbrokes why? and they replied 'because we make 1000x more on a Roulette machine than a Fruit Machine'

I don't know.

However I have just read somewhere that Barcrest will soon be launching £50 JP mcs.

I play all barcrest machines Hellraiser types being my fave. Betting is my main thing though, its much more disciplined in a way, and the wins are far better..

Easy now i'm Gary from Enfield in North London.

Age 21, been addicted to fruities ever since my old man managed a pub 7 years ago. And yes machines have got a lot harder to play now since then but its all about the 25 jackpots as opposed to the 10's!

Favorite brand of m/c has to be barcrest. favorite machine of all time has to be casino crazy jpm

I'm Matt, 19 and live in York and Cambridge about half the year each. Been playing fruities since i was about 10 or 11, and 18+ ones since i was about 17. I'd say i'm a pretty decent player these days, usually make a profit most times i play. Fave machines at the moment are JJC/GBC and Jolly Roger/Super Pool. Easy to play, easy to do, and 9/10 times i'll get a profit. :D

The best advice i can offer anyone starting is to stay disciplined! How many times have i seen people playing machines for no reason because they're bored or don't know what they're doing. Stick to what you know, and accept that you can't have it your own way 100% of the time!

Im ged , wont say my age , feel old  .

I play m/cs most days after work depending on my shift.

I have some decent knowledge of m/cs but nowhere near enough
I generally do better on horses due to the fact that i know a few people and our kid works for the brother of a C4 morning line presenter
i also live more or less on a racecourse..
get some decent info now and again.

Two last main ones were IFFRAAJ which won today and MISSED THAT which won at the cheltenham festival.

Incidentally , im told a horse to watch out for soon is TOMOOHAT trained by michael stoute. They really fancied it for the guineas but it wasnt quite ready. So best keep an eye out people.

Hi, I'm John (1 8) , probably the youngest here! I work full time and part time. I live in the north west (Radcliffe) and play mostly in the pubs around Little Lever. I know when to stop playing and will walk away if its not paying.

At the moment there are:
Voodoo games: The cash Factor
Corma Chamelion
Super win Streak
Dosh and Pecks
Around the world
cops and robbers
and some more around there!
