it was sited in a wetherspoons and gone in 3 weeks and swapped for holy grail but an un chipped dond gold is still there strange

They prob don't know the DOND gold is unchiped. Iv had it load of times when they should have got rid of a fruit, and they have just stayed there for what seems like forever. Anyway you still have the DOND.

I would say most pros wouldn't have any idea about chips for dond golds, I wouldn't waste a pound in one with my current knowledge level on it.
Even if they were less risk/more playable they'd have to make a serious improvement to meet my average hourly rate criteria on machines.

Golds are old news, so you don't need to be a self acclaimed pro to know about these. Try and find one with sky-high pots round where I go that's not been hit before.

Ive had a dond gold by me for about 6 months now and its good for a £70 pot every 4 days or so. Only good for beer money though, although I did get £70 off £5 on 25p play which was nice.

They seem to be kind to me. Played one tonight on 25p with a £70 and got cash combo for £33 but it repeated. Was only £18 in. Switched to 50p stake and got the cashpot on that off £50 then switched back to 25p a go for some small afters. Dont see how anyone can put £300 through one maybe I just get lucky.
