They have dosh and pecks in eastenders bookies and used to have a golden dragon in the queen vic, what other good soap machines have there been? Also why does the machine in the queen vic still play the dragon effects?

I noticed that in the vic too, keep hearing 'dololololo' trial hold sounds from golden dragon played randomly, even if nobodys on the fruit, i think its some impulse thing in there now, never seen it out in the wild tho.
Its amazing in the jockey in shameless, bet the maguires had that covered to fuck, and probs threatened to batter any engineer that dared to try and come and chip it lol

theres more to life than machine hunting watching soaps, its not likely you'd get a chance to play them

The machine in corrie makes me laugh, no idea what it is coz i hate the show TBH but mum and dad watch it, and the sounds, they are pitiful, like some kind of 8 bit beepy sounds like an early nintendo gameboy would make!
I will never understand why they dont just have the sounds turned up to a sensible level on the actual machine itself so that it all seems more realistic, instead of added in sounds from something that sounds nothing like any machine around these days.

Yeah why don't they just let them play it properly instead of them pretneding to play in attract mode or test!

Currently workin my way thru an entire shameless box set and I can confirm that they only seem to have two samples.
The collect sound from a joker poker and the jackpot music from the old ace machine grand national!!!

Eastender used to have a horseracing themed one.
I cannot remember the name of it, but it was a Barcrest and a green colour i think.
