Money have you lent to other "players" who beg and bag until you lend them say £200 for 3days only to never see the money again?

Why would you lend money to any player? Everyone should have enough money to not have to worry about borrowing.

And I'm assuming in most cases it's local players - for me this should be even less of an incentive to lend...not lending would help to get them out of the game and leave more stuff for you!

I can just see the scenario now. Local player begs for a float, you give it to him and then he does your route. Lovely!

Agree totally with sir rat! Turk was skint one time so i went straight out and had a great day as everything was ready! He had a great day watching people on roulette!

I remember lending a 'playing friend' £250 to prevent him from being turfed out of his flat... ...Instead, he turfed himself out of the country. Ok, it was only small potatos, but never saw that money again.

Sadly there are lots of bastards that would gleefully watch others struggle while counting their coins. Not just other players either.

People who put money before friends (proper friends I mean), do so because they have no friends. Or they won't if they carry on with that attitude anyhow.

Id always help my mates out, just annoying when your owed about 1500 and the people who owe you it have no way of getting money.

Its worse when a mate borrows £500 off you when hes just put a grand in a cashino and you dont want anyone to win it, but you dont want your mate to put more in!

Agreed! Lent a few proper friends money when they've gone skint always got it back.

it's just simple isn't it...even if I know they brained everything they have in a bookies, if they really needed it, and I could afford it, I would lend them it, simple

True friends always pay you back even if it takes a while,if any of my friends was in trouble and all i had was say 200 i would rather lend them it and stay in for a while, wouldnt happen though just an example.........

Ouch! I don't think I could bring myself to lend money to anyone who has just spunked his wages in a Cashino ....

Spot on, I had a mate owe me over £200 for nearly 2 years, situation were he'd pay a bit back 1 week but have it back the next.
Ended up 1 day going up town and he bought me a SIlver PS2 plus other stuff on his credit card, better than him drawing cash and it was stuff I was planning on buying anyway.
